Sonya Massey’s Family Seeks JUSTICE After A 911 Call Resulted In Her Tragic Death | TSR Investigates

A 36-year-old woman who’s name is Sonya Massey called 911 in Springfield, Illinois, on Saturday, July 6. Massey believed someone was attempting to break into her house.

The lady, who appeared to be in mental distress, reportedly questioned officers not to hurt her. Instead, Massy was gunned down and left in a pool of blood as officers reportedly waited to render aid.

Currently, her family and the Springfield community are seeking for Verdct.

Media Justin Carter explores what actually occurred and what’s being done on ‘media Investigates.’

As per to Carter, Massey called 911 about suspicious activity inside or around her house around 1 a.m. on July 6. Two officers arrived at her home. But, they did not locate an intruder on the premises.

Bodycam footage of the officers’ visit shows them later speaking with Massey, who appears to be in mental distress. Massey ultimately invites the officers into her home and begins to search for her identification.

Officers reportedly noticed a pot of boiling water on her stove and instructed her to turn it off. As she appears to comply with their orders, looking like pouring the water down the sink, one of the officers, Deputy Grayson, backs away.

“Where you going?” Massey can be heard asking the officer.

In turn, Grayson answered, “Away from your hot steaming water.”

In a matter of seconds, Officer Grayson then places his hand on his gun holster and threatens to shoot Massey in her “f*g face.”

The woman apologizes and even ducks for cover. The deputy then fires multiple shots, shooting Massey in the head.

The 2nd officer immediately reports the shooting and tried to retrieve his medical kit to render aid to Massey. Meanwhile, Deputy Grayson tells his partner Massey “is done.”
