Kenya Moore Says Marc Daly Is Engaged as They Move Towards Finalizing Their Divorce

Back in December 2023, Kenya Moore opened that her divorce from Marc Daly was about to be finalized more than three years after the spouses 1st separated.

“After more than 3 years of litigation, I have finally been granted a divorce,” Kenya told PEOPLE back on December 12. “I want to thank everyone who prayed for and uplifted me when I wanted it the most.”

She included that she was looking forward to her “next chapter” with their daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly, and that she was discovering a person to have a “happily ever after ending” with in the future.

Fast-forward to February 2024, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member appeared on The Breakfast Club to talk about the reason why her divorce isn’t official yet, and to share a surprising update on her ex’s connection status today.

Though Kenya shared that she had been “granted a divorce” just before the holidays, her separation still has yet to be finalized.

“The jury still didn’t sign off yet, so the paperwork is there,” she said during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. “So, I’m waiting. Every day I’m checking online to see if he signed off, he didn’t yet.”

As per to another comment she made on the radio series, there’s a big reason why Marc may want to formalize the split sooner rather than later.

As Kenya explained, the divorce proceedings between her and Marc took many years because her former wanted, at a point, to remain together. But, she said she didn’t think that he was doing the right “work” to keep their union going.

“What if he began doing the work now?” co-host Charlamagne tha God questioned.

“Well, apparently he has a fiancée now, so I don’t know,” Kenya opened, much to everyone else’s surprise.

Kenya didn’t share numerous other details about Marc’s fiancée, or about their connection. However, she did say, “Good luck to her.”

“I wish you well,” she said, addressing Marc and his fiancée. “It’s not my trouble anymore. Please, judge, hurry up and sign my papers, and then that’s it.”

As she waits for the judge to sign off on her divorce, Kenya is feeling optimistic about her future.

“I just feel a relief,” she said. “This is like the new era [of] me. I’m gonna do any and everything I want to do. I feel like when you have someone taking up that space in your life, you can’t have anybody else come fill it, because there’s no space there. They’re always in the back of your mind…”
