Georgia Authorities Reveal Identity Of Human Remains Construction Workers Found

Georgia authorities think human remains found by construction workers likely belong to a missing mom from more than a year ago.

Media reports that Gabriella Dixon, 18, was last seen in Macon, Georgia, on October 30, 2023. On July 24, investigators found human remains in the Monroe County area and believe they belong to Dixon.

Authorities told media that construction workers discover the remains, which they then sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for confirmation.

Gabriella Searcy, Dixon’s mother, told 13 WMAZ that the family is “99% sure” the remains are Dixon’s, given the red hair and clothing.

The media detailed that Gabriella Dixon’s missing persons report added unsettling details from her family and statements from her 2-year-old child.

On October 2023, after Reginald Harris dropped the children off at Gabriella’s mom’s house, the 2-year-old child told their grandmother, “Momma was in blood,” while the older sibling said, “mother is sleeping.”

While authorities have not yet determined what happened to Gabriella Dixon, they have identified and served 2 people of interest.

Per WGXA News, authorities took 19-year-old Jatarvius Deangelo Price to Bibb County Jail and charged him with conspiracy to commit homicide.

In November, police arrested Jatarvius for making false statements and tampering with proof, but they later released him on bond.

They have also issued a warrant for Reginald Harris in connection with Dixon’s homicide. Gabriella’s family identified Reginald Harris as the father of her children.

13 WMAZ reported that a month before Gabriella Dixon disappeared, Reginald Harris choked her, threatened her with a gun, and made death threats.
